As the principals of independent accounting
firms have long recognized, there are significant advantages
to operating as midsized local or regional firms. You’re
not beholden to any bureaucracy or hierarchy. You’re
agile, nimble and flexible. You’re free to chart
your own course and serve your clients your way. But
at the same time, larger firms sometimes have the advantage
with their national and worldwide contacts; their breadth
of resources and expertise; their collective leverage;
their sheer size.
Our independent members are all local and regional
firms of Certified Public Accountants, Chartered Accountants,
or their international equivalents. Each member firm
remains entirely autonomous, yet benefits from a global
alliance of highly successful firms, comprehensive and
robust programs, and deep management resources. Overall,
our goal is to help successful firms thrive and prosper
more than they could on their own.
Through an array of ongoing
programs, you’ll be able to:
- Participate in forums for the
free and open exchange of technical, product and management
expertise with firms of similar backgrounds and needs.
